MS Project Server 2003 to MS Project Server 2007

Since its less-than-user-friendly inception in 2003, Project Server has undergone some major and positive transformations, starting with the highly serviceable Project Server 2007 and the inception of Microsoft’s Enterprise Project Management (EPM) suite that introduced SharePoint as a key “baked-in” element.  

Small and mid-sized corporate users of Microsoft Project Server (MSP) are developing increasingly innovative ways to employ this collaborative technology in ways that extend far beyond its core project management-oriented focus.  

In the Public sector and Private sector, Pinnacle often uses Deltek Cobra as part of an Earned Value Management System (EVMS).  In all cases Cobra must be integrated within a scheduling tool: Microsoft Project (MSP), Microsoft Project Server or often Oracle Primavera.
