In recent years the practice of Earned Value Management (EVM) has seen a significant resurgence. 

The DoD EVM utilization and application is the most mature and discerning of all the US Federal Agencies. 

The Army, Navy, Marines and the Air Force have been requiring the use of EVM longer than any of the Civilian Agencies.  The Intelligence communities within the DoD do not have the same reputation regarding the stringency of their DoD EVM requirements.

This service is for organizations that either do not have an EVM capability in place or need to improve their current EVM capabilities. 

Deltek Cobra comes with a default configuration that lets you get up and running quickly. However, it is a very configurable tool that can be tailored to your specific needs.

Historically, the industry voice of Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Program Management (IPM) has been the NDIA's Program Management Systems Committee (PMSC); the PMSC was a subset of the NDIA’s Procurement Division.  This basic scenario has been effective for over 30 years. However, the idea of the concepts of IPM, in general, and EVM, in particular, being a subset of the procurement community has always been viewed as limiting.
