Improve Project tracking with Oracle's new evm capability to Unifier

Oracle's Primavera Unifier is a cost control, capital planning, and project phase delivery tool. Oracle Construction and Engineering has now enhanced their already great Unifier tool with added Earned Value Management (EVM) capabilities. 

With complete visibility into project performance, it is easier to stay on top of project progress and budgeting with real time data. The new EVM features allow users to easily and efficiently track project progress, cost, scope and schedule information, allowing for better management from start to finish. With these new capabilities, users can quickly compare the initial budgeted cost of a project against what has been completed and see how much that work has cost.

To mitigate potential project overruns and other related risks, it is necessary to have a tool that can integrate with other systems already in place within an organization. Unifier already integrates with Oracle Fusion Middleware to allow for data transfers between a broad range of businesses systems, and now Unifier integrates seamlessly with Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) to enable a single place for consolidated cost, schedule and performance data. 

The new Unifier EVM enhancement allows users to:

  • Import multiple projects from Primavera P6 into a single project activity sheet
  • Incorporate resource spreadsheets and progress information from the P6 scheduling tool 
  • Assign rates to each project and project baselines for better tracking 
  • Use industry EVM standards to analyze critical project metrics and trends
