Pinnacle Management Systems is seeking a Project Support Analyst in Washington DC. The Project Support Analyst will provide project management support and expertise to Program Managers leading major Information Technology programs.
Description
This role requires superior Project Management skills. It also requires working knowledge with IT SDLC processes, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
The Project Support Analyst must strong skills and experience producing Project management and SDLC deliverables (artifacts)
The Project Support Analyst will support one or more Project Managers (PM) responsible for Information Technology programs.
The Project Support Analyst will be required to interact regularly with Project Managers, project team members and the Program Office.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist PMs with developing project planning documentation
- Maintain project baselines and change control documentation
- Collect schedule status from team members and provide the information to the Program Office on a monthly basis
- Produce all Project Management and SDLC required reports and documentation
- Requires PMP and 10 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of general PM and/or planning/scheduling experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities and minimal supervision
- Use of telephone, e-mail and web-meetings to effectively collaborate with other team members working in remote offices
- Effective time management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Office suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Prior U.S. federal agency experience
