Primavera Release 8 - Saving Data

For experienced users transitioning from the P6 client (what is now called P6 Professional) to the Release 8 web implementation many operations in the Activity window are very similar.

One adjustment that users do need to make is that in the web client you have to be explicit about saving data you have entered or changed. The P6 client does this automatically for you in most circumstances.

Like the Office applications if you try to exit from a window and data hasn’t been saved you will be prompted to ask whether you want to save it.

The Undo capabilities in the web client are limited as well.
