Pinnacle Leads Bell Helicopter's Re-Validation Of Their EVMS
In the DoD Report to Congress on EVM2009 Bell Helicopter was singled out as a groundbreaking success story. Bell had been de-validated in early 2006.
Pinnacle assisted with development of the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) that drove the necessary change at Bell.
Our team provided the vision, leadership and experience to make EVM a core business strength for Bell, resulting in the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) restoring Bell's validation in early 2009.
Some of Pinnacle’s high level activities at Bell were…
- Developing a comprehensive EVMS Improvement plan (the "EVMS Future State" project)
- Focus on critical components: People, Processes, Work Products and Tools
- Re-engineering policies, processes, roles & responsibilities
- Implementing new EVM tools; and integrating them into other enterprise systems
- Creating a comprehensive role based training program combining processes and tools
- Building Pinnacle’s the "EZ-EV" Process Asset Library, “making it significantly easier to understand processes and receive information”
Through word of mouth comments Pinnacle’s “EZ-EV” Process Asset Library has been called “a game changer that will provide the consistency required by large aerospace and defense contractors”. According to one source, major Aerospace companies have attempted to post their EV processes online, but if what they have done could be considered a black & white television, then EZ-EV is a high-definition color television, in 3-D. The Process Asset Library has been described as representing a real best-in-class approach. This approach is going to change the landscape of EVMS implementation in the industry.
Pinnacle has an exceptional track record of EVMS implementation in both government and commercial organizations.
Pinnacle is unique in the breadth and depth of our EVMS experience including experience in all leading EVMS tools and related technologies.
Our expertise in EVM covers process design, organizational training, mentoring and software implementation and integration.
