Current Opening : EVMS Specialist (USA)

Position Description:  This role will be responsible for supporting or managing the implementation of EVMS processes and systems for Pinnacle clients. 

Required Skills: 

Requires proven EVMS implementation experience covering both EVMS processes and tools. 

Minimum of 5-7 years experience in implementing EVMS processes in the federal goverment contract arena.  

Demonstrated familiarity with ANSI/EIA 748a EVMS Guidelines.  

Demonstrated experience with the following disciplines:

  • EVM project planning and baseline development
  • Project scheduling including IMS and IMP techniques
  • Risk and issue management
  • Project control using Earned Value methods
  • Earned value metrics and data analysis

Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following PM and EVMS tools:

  • Deltek Cobra, M*PM, Open Plan and wInsight
  • Primavera P3e, TeamPlay, Cost Management, Project Management
  • Artemis Cost View
  • Microsoft Project and Project Server

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.  Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desired Skills:   

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus. 

Experience in developing or delivering EVMS-related training is highly desirable.

Travel:  Must be willing to travel up to 80% throughout the USA.  Some international travel is possible.
