The Deltek Insight 2008 user conference was held May 19th through 22nd in Nashville. Pinnacle was invited to deliver two presentations on deploying successful enterprise-level EPM and EVMS solutions.
One paper titled "Adoption - the Real Challenge in Implementing EVMS" was presented by Mike Young and discussed techniques for pushing beyond a technical implementation to ensure the new EVMS becomes institutionalized.
The second, "Adopting EVM and EPM - the Role of Finance and Accounting", was presented by Mike Young and Gary Harvey and discussed typical issues and opportunities related to Finance and Accounting during deployments of EVM and EPM systems and techniques.
The presentations build off of Pinnacle's unique experience combining business process development and tool implementation to develop complete EPM and EVM solutions.
